Lou Hardie

Kinesiologist & Reiki Master at Naturology Studio

Meet Lou Hardie

At Naturology Studio, Lou Hardie provides gentle, client-centred Kinesiology and Reiki sessions for children, teens and adults.

Lou has a special interest in supporting people experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, grief and nervous system dysregulation, as well as children with additional needs including ADHD, autism and sensory challenges.

She is particularly passionate about supporting children and families, helping young people feel safe, understood and better able to navigate life’s challenges.

Her approach combines professional training, lived experience and deep compassion, creating a safe space where clients can explore the connection between their emotions, experiences and physical wellbeing.

Whether working with a young child struggling to regulate their emotions or an adult navigating life transitions, Lou aims to help clients better understand themselves, reconnect with their own inner resources and move towards greater balance and resilience.

A Personal Journey into Natural Therapies

Originally from Melbourne, Lou’s interest in natural health began through her own search for answers.

Over the years she explored a range of complementary therapies including naturopathy, Bach flower remedies, Kinesiology and Reiki.

Through her own experiences with illness, grief and life’s challenges, she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between mind, body and emotional wellbeing.

These experiences ultimately inspired Lou to undertake formal training in Kinesiology and Reiki so she could support others on their own healing journeys.

Today, she brings both professional knowledge and lived understanding to every session.

Supporting Children, Teens and Adults

Lou works with people of all ages and has particular experience supporting:

Children & Teens

  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Anxiety and worries
  • Sensory challenges
  • ADHD and autism
  • School stress and overwhelm
  • Family transitions
  • ARFID
  • Low confidence

Adults

  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Life transitions

  • Feeling “stuck” or disconnected

Alongside her work at Naturology Studio, Lou has worked as a Therapy Assistant supporting children aged 3–15 years.

This experience has provided valuable insight into the unique needs of children and families navigating developmental, behavioural and emotional challenges.

Many parents appreciate Lou’s calm, gentle approach and her ability to build rapport with children who may feel nervous or overwhelmed.

She understands that every child is different and works at a pace that helps children feel safe, supported and understood.

Family is at the heart of Lou’s life. As a wife, mother and grandmother, she loves spending time with her children and grandchildren and values the connection, curiosity and joy that young children bring.

These experiences have helped shape the gentle, compassionate approach she brings to her work with children, teens and adults alike.

Lou is inspired by the understanding that emotional experiences, life events and stress can influence our overall wellbeing.

Using Kinesiology techniques and Reiki where appropriate, she works collaboratively with clients to identify areas of imbalance and support the body’s natural ability to restore equilibrium.

Her sessions are gentle, non-invasive and tailored to the individual needs of each client.
